A rather uncommon background for the Jewish prayer shawl, the grey color provides this tallit set with a unique look, enhanced by the silver decorations. Grey is a highly symbolical color in Judaism, referring to the old age, to its beauty and wisdom as well as to repentance and purification. The Hebrew letters are silvery, but the Israeli designers carefully chose the tones so that to make them stand out on a light grey ribbon sewn over the dark shawl.
